Use the estimator to turn a plumber quote and your utility's terms into a clearer out-of-pocket number.
How our tools work
The estimator is a simple browser-based calculator. You enter a quote and the program terms, and it applies the grant, reimbursement, or loan structure to show estimated out-of-pocket cost and, when relevant, an estimated monthly payment.
Enter the plumber's full quote first, then choose the kind of help your utility offers: a percent grant with a cap, a flat reimbursement, or a loan. If your program has more than one rule, match the utility's wording as closely as you can.
For the best estimate, have the written program terms in front of you and double-check whether the cap applies to the total project, only the private side, or only eligible items. If your utility requires an approved contractor list, use a quote from that list when you can.
